MOSCOW, Nov 27 (PRIME) – Russian gold producer Uzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (UGC) has received an ecological permit for an ore-dressing plant at the Vysokoye deposit in the Krasnoyarsk Region and plans to start producing gold there in December, the company said in a statement on Monday.
"UGC has received a positive statement of the State Environmental Expertise Board and the Main Department of State Expertise on the project Ore-Dressing Plant at the Vysokoye Deposit,” UGC said.
“The start of gold production at the plant is scheduled for December 2023, total production growth is planned at more than 60% by 2026."
Vysokoye will produce up to 4 tonnes of gold in 2024 and up to 6 tonnes after the launch of the second line by 2027.
